Terms & Conditions – Reiki Training
Hands on Practice
Jikiden Reiki training involves direct touch when receiving or giving Reiki treatments, and giving and receiving Reiki is an important aspect of the training. If you are uncomfortable with this or unable to touch with your hands please call me to discuss before you book and we will see if we can work something out.
Jikiden Reiki Training – Registration of Students
All Students are registered as a Jikiden Reiki practitioner with the Institute based in Kyoto Japan and it is necessary to share your name, address and contact details with them. Your name will not appear in any public place and you will not receive any communications from the Institute unless you register on their online forums. They will not share your details with anyone.
Late Arrivals & Non Attendance
If parts of the course are missed due to excessive lateness, unforeseen circumstances etc. you may not be eligible to receive certificates for the training or become registered with the Jikiden Reiki Institute as a practitioner. If you think you may be late or cannot attend for any reason please contact us, as soon as you can to discuss the matter and we will see if we can work something out. Training is cumulative so you may not need to repeat the whole course to complete the training if for some reason you cannot finish the complete course in the scheduled timetable.
Certificates
Training certificates will be issued on the last day of the training unless for some unlikely reason there is a delay receiving them from Japan in which case they will be mailed to you soon after we receive them. Certificates cannot be issued to students before we have received full payment for the training received or before all parts of any course are completed in full.
Finishing Times
I aim to finish at the specified time, but it is important we deliver the whole curriculum and if there are lots of questions (for example) there can be delays. So please try to allow time for us to run over. If you will have to leave at the given finish time please let us know as soon as you can. Every effort will be made to stick to the scheduled times.
Video & Photography
Students may not take photographs or film / video during training sessions. Taking photographs during breaks and lunchtimes is ok. No photographs may be taken that show the Gokai scroll, or other training materials, pictures etc used during the course at any time. The course organiser or assistants may take video and photographs. Some of the photographs or video we may take may be published on the internet or in our brochures etc. Please let us know if you wish to be excluded from images that may be shared in public.
